Paladin Electroless Nickel Chemistry
High and medium phosphorus processes. Selected around your part and production requirements.
Ronatec develops and supplies Paladin 2012 high phosphorus and Paladin 2000 medium phosphorus electroless nickel plating chemicals for industrial finishing operations. Compare deposit properties, corrosion performance and bath operation with the team behind the chemistry.

Paladin 2012High Phosphorus Electroless Nickel Chemistry
Paladin 2012 produces a semi-bright, high phosphorus nickel deposit formulated for corrosion resistance, as-plated hardness and wear performance. Its technical data reports 10.6–12.0% phosphorus by weight and non-magnetic deposit properties.
For components facing demanding corrosion requirements, evaluate the process against the required substrate, deposit thickness, preparation sequence and acceptance criteria.
- Single-component bath make-up with 1:1 A:C replenishment
- Self-pH-adjusting replenishment system
- Suitable for rack and barrel processing
- RoHS-compliant deposit, as stated in Ronatec technical data
Paladin 2000Medium Phosphorus Electroless Nickel Chemistry
Paladin 2000 produces a bright, medium phosphorus nickel deposit containing 7–9% phosphorus by weight. It combines reported NSS performance of 300–400 hours with fast deposition and straightforward bath make-up and replenishment.
For production finishing teams, Ronatec can help evaluate the chemistry around throughput, deposit appearance, corrosion requirements and the operating conditions of the line.
- Single-component bath make-up with 1:1 A:C replenishment
- Bright deposits for production finishing
- Suitable for rack and barrel processing
- Lead- and cadmium-free chemistry; RoHS-compliant deposit

What is the difference between Paladin 2012 and Paladin 2000?
Paladin 2012 is Ronatec’s semi-bright high phosphorus electroless nickel process, with 10.6–12.0% phosphorus by weight. Paladin 2000 is a bright medium phosphorus process, with 7–9% phosphorus by weight. Compare the required deposit properties, production conditions and supporting performance data with Ronatec.
Does Ronatec supply both high and medium phosphorus EN chemistry?
Yes. Ronatec develops and supplies Paladin 2012 high phosphorus and Paladin 2000 medium phosphorus electroless nickel plating chemicals. Its broader EN offering includes additional chemistries, engineered equipment and technical support.
Does single-component make-up mean single-component replenishment?
No. Both Paladin processes use single-component bath make-up. The technical data specifies separate A and C replenishment components added in a 1:1 ratio. Follow the applicable current technical instructions and Ronatec’s recommendations for your line.
What information should I provide when selecting a Paladin process?
Provide the substrate, coating thickness, required corrosion and wear properties, appearance, applicable specification, production volume, part geometry and current line conditions. Ronatec can review the relevant chemistry, test information, pretreatment and equipment requirements.
